LIKE TONIGHT I CALL A CQ ON 10.105 AT 100W OUTPUT. I GET A
PISS WILLY WEAK SIGNAL FROM 3 LAND. BUT I MANAGE TO GET THE
CALL AND THATS IT. SO I TELL THE GUY I CAN'T COPY.. SO
HE THEN CRANKS IT UP TO 38 WATTS (SO HE SAID) AND PROBABLY
GOT MAD WHEN I TOLD HIM ABOUT MY OPINION OF QRP.
LOOK WE ALL DON'T WORK DX, I LIKE A NICE CW CHAT FROM
TIME TO TIME. IF IM 579 DON'T CALL ME WITH .2 WATTS AND
EXPECT ME TO ENJOY IT.
100 watts is QRO to a lot of folks, (That means high power).
Fine. Then drop the drive and call me at 25 watts. Thats
low enough for anyone.

You have a point, Dan. I guess you could have reduced your power down to the milliwatt level and reciprocated the suffering.
OTOH, the poor guy is probably over on eBay right now searching for a "toobe with handles" for his next QSO :-)
if you don't like QRP don't work QRP ops turn the dial to quote RH

Maybe not this guy, but a lot of QRP ops seem to think they are doing wonderful things with super low power.
Nope, the poor guy trying to make sense of the signal through normal HF static is the one that should get the credit.
If he want's to get a "tube with handles" thats fine. I really like to be able to copy a signal Q5.
Life is too short for QRP...ho ho.
