Dealing with the BARF

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I know the vast majority of you folks out there have no idea at all
about the recent posts by a fellow called w4fqf. Whom I have
determined to be the real one indeed. I did my best not to allow
my comments to get me banned. I enjoy the QRZ format and the
people on it, for the most part.

This BARF thing is concerning events that happened long before
many of you even had a license. Roughly from 1980s to about
1998 or 99. About the time Riley showed up and started taking
care of business. I freely admit I was one of his snitches. But
I was specific and my aim was accurate. I only went after the
BARF boys, and then only the worst of them. I sent in recordings
and did my paperwork. I USED TO BE A MEMBER OF THE AMATEUR
AUXILIARY. I dropped out when I felt the FCC was NOT doing
their part of the deal. I am not now and don't intend to rejoin the
group.

I see absolutely no need to bring back this BARF stuff. But if
anyone wants to discuss it, and I'll see if I can get some of the
old soldiers to come up and discuss it also, please go to my
blog at www.w4nti.com and click on the very first link in the
text to the "editorial page". There is no censorship on the BLOG
and perhaps it will serve to help someone why this recent exchange
came along.

Thank you for your time.

polly

-------------------------------------------------------------------

Polly is a great guy and if I remember right, Rambo NO ONE wanted
to talk with you because of your rotten personality.

Now you admit to being a snitch. I got a call from someone who told
me you were hated in 'nam and if you had not been reassigned the
guys were going to kick your butt
Once a snitch?

wa1bhv
******************************************************************
Interesting how this crowd of BARFers go after me about Nam isn't
it? It all started by these two clowns back in the 90s. Polly and
David just loved to push my buttons. Trouble is they don't have a
damn thing of truth to say about it. All their crap about my
Military service is just that, CRAP. I was never reassigned because
the "guys" were going to kick my butt. That is something the Parrot
made up I'm sure, just like me being a cook, etc. It's all bullcrap.

And like bullcrap it sticks to the floor. After putting my life on
line for this ungrateful country, putting up with "baby killer" on
the radio TO THIS DAY I owe both of these jerks a serious ass
kicking. But unfortunately that can't happen any more. You see I
was injured in that useless war, a rocket round detonated close
and the concussion messed up my back, neck, shoulder. I was
discharged with a 50% disability rating, by the mid 90s the VA
increased it to 100%. From 1979 to that time I worked as best I
could, thus I qualified for Social Security and will get my
retirement check from them in September. Now I can hardly walk, I
guess they can do and say what they want about me now.

I don't like putting all this stuff out on the Internet. But I am
flat sick and tired of being attacked by this bunch of reprobates.

What do you know about Vietnam? Other than the place a friend of
yours died because of your cowardice. I remember you saying how
bad you felt when Aldo Ridder came up to you just after enlisting
and asked when you were going to do the same. You said you wasn't
going to do that.

You remember how you used to brag on the radio about "not getting
to go to Vietnam?" Do you remember how you would spend hours
describing how you faked your 4F rating because you were a coward?
I do.

Do you remember that every single time I would come on the air, to
talk to those friends you say I didn't have, you would come on and
interfere with your insistent blabber and stupid comments? Making
Helicopter sounds? etc. This went on for
YEARS.

Defend yourself here you miserable piece of crap.

Dan,

Wow, didn't take long for people to chime in did it. You don't have to explain your service in Nam, even if you were a cook there is nothing wrong with that and don't think for one second the ungrateful few aholes who open their fly traps mirror the opinion of the majority who do thank you for your service.

This country owes all of it's service men and women a debt of gratitude and when these people are injured they own them an income.

We now have a group of people who don't know what personal sacrifice is for the greater good. The past few generations going back to the hippies of the Nam generation have no friggin clue what sacrifice is.

Today, Government promises everything, can't do anything right but will promise it anyway! Lets socialize and nobody will have to work!

Back to topic, aholes are aholes and like I said on the forum, when they knock a Vet, they look stupid, not you.

I'm not so certain the US remains an ungrateful country, however it certainly has some ungrateful members! Thank you for your sacrifice, do not sweat when small minds attack!!

Eric,

Well you see it is the "FUN THING" to attack the Vietnam Veterans. Your too young to remember how they would call us "Baby Killers", not hire us at jobs we were qualified for, throw chicken blood, spit on us, etc. You would think that after 40 years those sort of things would change. It don't ever go away . I was on .275 the other day and some asshole called me a Baby Killer. GUESS WHAT? HE's right, those 500 pounder off the fighters probably did kill some babies. And I passed the word to do so. Whatever.

I've just had enough of it all Eric. I'm not going to stand for it any longer.

Jeff,

Appreciate you suport tho.

Dan,

Too young to remember the 60's events yes, too young to remember how Vets were treated when they came home in the early to mid 70's no.

My father was still learning English and we watched as many news channels as we could together. I was horrified by how people would act, funny how they haven't changed much.

The ones yelling baby killer then are the ones screaming global warming, anti-war anti anything as long as its anti-SOMETHING today, or they raised ones who will.

Our school system is producing nice socialists instead of educated thinkers.

I understand you're sick of it and I will never know your pain. BUT I will always thank you for your service.

Hank,

No we didn't cut and run. A lot of us didn't cut and run. There is a lot of BS out there about the NAM VETS. Such as we are all drug adicts, FALSE. MOst of us were black drafties, FALSE. Most of us were DRAFTED, WRONG.

I was a poor white boy that couldn't afford college, I enlisted and VOLUNTERED to go to
NAM several times in fact. Looking back on it all, probably not the smartest thing I ever did... hi.'

I spent 4 years in Air Force, got out, went back to SEA (South East Asia for those not knowing), lived and worked in Thailand and NAM for civilian contractors. Came back stateside and couldn't stand it. So I joined the ARMY, they guaranteed me Europe, so I took them up on it. In Europe my back went "OUT" big time doing PT. And it ain't come back yet. Seems that knocking around slipped some joints and cracked some bones. Just got worse since. I was a electronic Technician when I was a civilian. Couldn't even do that after a while. Tough getting work when you can't guarantee to be at work due to the severe pain. So here I am, being harassed for not being a gutless coward. Screw them all. I get 30% for Post Traumatic Stress. This is where Karol calls me a Paranoid Skitzoid. I get 60% for Chronic back pain. 10% for unemployability. 20% for Agent Orange Exposure. What's that? 120%. I could go get the back upgraded to 80 now, but why bother? The Agent Orange will eventually kill us all, Prostrate Cancer or Perephil Nuerophy where you cant control your extremitis. Heck, maybe thats why I can't walk or stand, eh? Those that know, know. Those that are named George Ashley and David Tolassi (the anti-war gutless 4F) they will get the last laugh. If there are ghosts, you know who I'm going after, right David you bastard. All this talk about me and Vietnam is because of those two bastards. Good old George spread all sorts of lies, as did David. And now everyone that can't stand the truth attacks me with the bullshit. I never bragged about what I did. All I did was SAVE AMERICAN AND OUR ALLIES LIVES. AND I DID A DAMN GOOD JOB OF IT. Got both the ARCOM in the ARMY, AND THE AFCOMMENDATION MEDAL IN THE AF. Was put in for the Bronze by a Ranger Major. But they didn't do cross service back then. That's ok, cuz he came home and most of his men did too. That's all I need to remember. That was TET of 68. Screw you two bastards.

Hank,

Yes it must have been a real shock to see what "freedom" can lead to. But it still beats the alternative.

Thanks guys.

I lost an uncle to Nam and my Mom's best friends husband died from Agent Orange in the 80's. The affect of war spreads wide and deep my friend, some live through it and continue the war in their head.

My wife has lost 1 uncle to Nam, and another one lost his mind soon after Nam. He has to be watched or he might suddenly scream and hit the ground trying to avoid bullets, imagine that, it's 2008 and for him the war goes on still.

Some people feel this is a reason to hate their own country and never GET IT, and they never will.

By the way Dan, Norway paid back their WWII debt to the US in full. I heard you mention countries that didn't, my home country did. :)

Eric and Hank,

I see we are all on the same track here. There is no glory in war. Just misery and more misery.

I just attempted to use my radio on 275 and was harassed by both David and Karol. They have a new game I see. Play like they are helping me hear people calling me. Then talk over them. Same crap David did for years.

Well guys appreciate the support.

See you in the trenches. OH BTW I'll be on 14.313 more these days. RH quit and David wants to start up the BARF. Well too bad.

Roger,

None of these idiots have served. If they did they would not talk the way they do. Screw them.

Mainsail you say....don't remember that one. But I was doing SAC several years before you. Lets see

Looking Glass Looking Glass this is a White Dot message is SIX parts...

Sounds about right...course thank GOD it was just a drill, cuz if those messages were REAL we would all be seriously over radiated with high speed neurons.

Dan/W4NTI

Dan,

The Mainsail prefix call was used in EAMs for GHFS', actually. I think we talked about it before.

They had the aircraft call sign, departure point and time, destination point and time, relay info for C & C asgencies and remarks, all in 5 letter groups.
Like if you go to 11.175 USB you can still hear those messages. You won't be able to decode them, (don't have that one time pad) but it is still great to hear them and they bring back memories.

Yeah and if the EAM's were real the sublock you'd need would be over hundreds of thousands. lol!

Polly Parrot is a real 'big man' behind a microphone, but if he goes to a hamfest and in confronted watch how fast this dirty-parrot shits his Depends undergarments! Yes sir you best start getting ready to work the bands from that nursing home Parrot. I look forward to 'visiting' you with a special get well card when you're lying on that bed half-paralized drooling from your mouth with that pee tube up your dic and that folley catheter up your ass. Remember George PAYBACKS ARE F-N HELL. ;)
