The ONLY way Karol becomes closer to normal is if he has had beer. He mellows out a bit, complains about being alone, no girlfriend and such. Then he starts the tirades, but it depends on how much beer he has had.
To me, until he goes on the air, and on his web site and apologizes for the calling of American deaths he is full of crap.
You know he is full of crap and no short bursts of whining about being alone will make anybody believe different. God help the bands if he gets some one night, he'll be roaring for a hate tirade second to none.
Karol is starting to remind me of the late Walter W2YEE (SK). Remember him? He also enjoyed getting tanked up on the brown and green bottles before he went on the air for hours at a time up and down 75 meters playing his trademark German Marching music. He was followed by WB2CLN (SK) who would launch into drunken tirades on 3.865 every night. It is truly curious how some form of alcohol abuse always play a part into these archtype examples of ham radio knuckleheads and their on the air antics. One can only imagine what things will be like when the aging potheads from the 60's and 70's start dottering off behind their microphones. Perhaps the 3.843 late night show is a taste of things to come?

Please don't compare him to Karol. Walter had Hi Fi audio in a 3 kc window. Quite a accomplishment.

More likely he wasn't near his radio during your QSO. He doesn't change his way unles it benefits him in some way or furthers his agenda.
