Wow...such venim from such a woose. I've heard that statement before. But I have a real hard time believing it. I can see it now. A group of Nam vets got off a plane at Travis AFB, this was April of 1968. We had Army, Navy, Air Force and Marines. The large contingent of Marines uploaded at Bien Hoa 24 plus hours ago. We came in on a wing and a prayer to Tokyo cuz we lost our landing wheels, something to do with ground fire. We hung around the Tarmac a while, then left for the land of the round doorknob.
I noticed the Marines were still carrying their weapons, grenades and bandolers of ammo.
You should have seen the Japanese Police having a fit....
Well we got off at Travis and on the other side of the fence was a bunch of American Chickens, waving signs and screaming at US.
I'll keep it slow here for you Marky.
